The city of Upper Arlington was founded by real estate developers and brothers Ben and King Thompson. Development of the town was put to a halt in 1916 when the National Guards used the area as a training facility, known as Camp Willis. Once the troops left, the people begin to rebuild since most of the town was destroyed while Camp Willis was in use. As Upper Arlington was being restored, the city started to grow, and the population increased. Today Upper Arlington has a population of over 30,000 people and has expanded significantly. Upon arrival I found circuit board failure. Only 14VAC being sent into limit circuit, 24VAC at R. The blower is operational, The refrigeration side has had a lot of bad work done, “Frankenstein with York, ADP and Goodman. Unit low on refrigerant, producing almost no heat. Based on patchwork nature of system and multi-thousand dollar cost of repairs, recommend replacement. The system is operational upon departure.

Upon arrival I found that flame sensor was dirty. I pulled & cleaned flame sensor. The ignitor is a spark ignitor and seems to be working fine. I found that filter was dirty. I replaced filter with customer provided 16x20x1 filter. I cleaned out port and hose going to pressure switch. I found that blower capacitor was low. 12.7/15 Customer does not want to replace capacitor at this time. I found that inducer is .41 amps. I found the gas pressure to be good. Looks to be a modulating gas valve. I could not recreate the issue that customer was having. I found that blower motor and inside of furnace cabinet is dirty and cleaned up as much of the dust and dirt as possible. I ran furnace for around 5-6 minutes and furnace ran with no issues. The system is operational upon departure. Ruud

I gave the customer options and the customer decided to have the gas valve replaced. I also found the inducer was making a noise which is caused by future issues.
